Lala!!

So Mom and Dad are watching The Passion of the Christ, I think I'll go get my discman because even just hearing it freaks me out. Seriously folks, I was so somber after I saw it. Okay, so back on topic. I started school yesterday, blech. My Spanish teacher came in late, we reviewed, I came home and reviewed the whole book did my homeschool. Today I had so many problems with my English class. Spanish was fine, but I need to add English. Well, so do about 14 other people... I hope I get in. I should, I'm Leah's little sister, and she had Leah. I ended up leaving when I should have stayed in the class room, but what do you do? Ay.... But I did get to see Ernie and Jp today! They came in at two in the morning and walked down the hall, and the car doors had woken me up anyways. So anyways, they came and turned my light on, and then we all (Mom, Dad, Ernie, Jp, and Ernie) went out into the family room and talked for a little bit. We went to bed at about 3, and I woke up at about 6:30 and couldn't sleep. I got up around 7:00 and showered and all that. I visited with Ernie, Jp, Ernie, and Dad till I left for my classes, where I had the problems. Then I met up with them at Radio Shack, they were getting new phones. I got to visit with them alot more than I expected, I was really glad. Then they left straight from there, and I just came home. I did a buttload of homework, and then left for Apologetics.

We talked about some really interesting topics. One was do babies go to heaven when they die. Another was do homosexuals go to heaven. We had a few others, but ended it off with the classic is God bound by time, or is He outside of time, but choses to stay in it? That one is always rather confusing... :) So that was about it. I came home. Now I think I'm going to do some Algebra and maybe History... Bleh.... maybe not... At least Spanish homework's done.

Well, we are back, burned some food, burned skin, just generally burned out. And I get to go back to school Monday, bleh...

We went to Gaviota Thursday. We took about 5 hours or so to get there, the car loaded to the brim. We finally got there and it was kind of hot, but we unloaded, set up tents, all that good stuff. We kind of just hung out at the camp ground for a little bit, then we I think, ate. We went down to the pier, it was fun. We came back, showered, and went to sleep really early. Next day, Friday, we woke up and had breakfast. We showered, I think, then some other stuff. I can't really remember all the details. Dad, Leah, Brian and I walked up to the railroad tracks (I'll try to get pictures of the place we stayed up) and we walked around on them for a little bit. That track is scary, it's got all these stakes pulled up doing nothing, it's kind of trashed. It's scary to think all these heavy trains are going over it daily. Well, then we got back to camp, ate lunch I think, and went to the beach and just waded. We'd get real near the big parts of the waves, and just try not to let them push us over. The salt tasted awful though, and it got in my eyes a couple times, that hurt. Well, we hung out alot at the campsite, and we went to the pier too. Friday night, I went to the pier and the most awesome thing happened. Brian and I walked out there with Butchie all bundled up, and we got to the end of the pier, and there were dolphins out in the water a little ways away playing! It was so cool! The next morning we woke up and it was dreary and cold and raining, Butchie kept getting all muddy, it was kind of sad. Then Dad and I had to hop on the Harley and ride in it! I was wearing a baseball tee, and sweater, a baggy sweatshirt, a scarf, a leather jacket, and two pairs of socks. We got a little further out, and it started getting warm. It baked us to death! We stopped and took off our layers, and by this time, my butt was killing me, and my feet, and my hands and arms wouldn't stop feeling like they were vibrating. It was fun though. It was so nice to get home, but I was so fried. I was so tired, I slept from about 4:00 till around 6:30, it was refreshing, but I woke up with a headache. I showered, ate pizza for dinner, and that was about it. I'm wiped out, and have absolutely no drive or desire to go to school on Monday. But now, it's time to go. I have church in the morning, and Sunday school. See, even Sundays we have school... ;) I'd rather go to Sunday school than Weekly School, lol! :) O'well, it won't be too bad, it just seems like it will be right now because I am so out of energy.

Well, today, I just did nothing for awhile, then I went to the grocery store (by my lonesome) and picked up a few random things, some things we needed for dinner, some things we just needed. Me and Brian and Leah agreed to have garden burgers for dinner, and Doritos. Then I came home, and then I left again to go help Maggie setting up her class room. It was a lot of fun. We just stapled things to walls, and decorated, and filed paperwork. I really liked it. Then Steve showed up from work, Sam dropped him off at the school. Then as we were leaving, Steve invited me to their house for dinner, so we called Leah and Brian and got it lined up. Then we went to Club Ed for a minute to get a couple things, then back to Steve and Maggie's house. And then Mike came over after we'd eaten. We played *ahem* not b-s but bologna... :) And we also played Hearts. I decided I don't like that game too much... Then I got to drive home. Now I am being summoned to go and watch and movie with Brian and Leah, so I suppose I will go.

I went to 7 tonight, and I have felt really extremely convicted about the last two weeks since I volunteered at the Grace Mission. Tonight, I finally had the perfect opportunity and knew what I had to do.

It was amazing. It seems like almost all the Bible studies I have been to the past two weeks have been about serving the Lord, and about sacraficing my life to God. Finally, tonight, they laid the message just right, they gave an opportunity, and I felt so convicted. God was tugging at my heart. 7 had the opportunity to volunteer to be all these different things. At first, it sounded cool, but none of them were my skill. "My only skill would be a greeter, but they wouldn't need people to do that." Was my first though. Then last, they announced they needed greeters who hand out notes, greet people, take offering, everything! They need to be hospitable, and make people feel welcome. It's also crazy because I just picked up this S.H.A.P.E sheet from 7, it tells you what your spiritual gifts are based off of a test thingy, and my strongest was hospitality! It's so amazing! I feel so blessed, because I was thinking about it. I would do it! But I would have to get to 7 early, and drive home after dark, Mom and Dad wouldn't want me driving then. Well, maybe in a few weeks I can sign up. Afterwards, I told Leah, I really want to sign up, but- ya know. She said, me too! I said, I want to be a greeter! She said, yeah, me too! It was so awesome to see God's hand in that situation, it's one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced. God is so awesome, and I am so excited to serve Him, and finally develop my gift! :) Well, This is an amazing night, and I just want to remember it for a while. :)

I forgot, today we tried to convince Candie that Brian got mad and took off, and was moving to his mom's. We had it all planned out: Leah, before she left to get Candie, talked to me about it. We told her we asked Brian to take out the trash Wednesday, and he got mad at us for being so bossy, and just took off, and we hadn't heard from him since. Then he came home, but I had called him and left a message on his phone explaining what he was to do. He walked in, and started packing up his stuff, this was on his own he did all this, lol. He packed up half his room, it was great! We exchanged harsh words, and tried getting Candie. Even outside, she may have been looking through the window, so we acted mean. It was great, but she didn't believe us. We had it going though, there was one point where she may have believed us. It was great. :)

Well, this is interesting. I'm on Crosswalk.com, it's a cool website. They have a debate room, it's so cool! I didn't really do anything today. We made chicken enchiladas and Spanish rice for dinner, it was good. :) That's all.

Well, I am showered, but Leah is just showering! She is even more lazy than me, shocker there. Well, yesterday we went to the laundromat, Brian brought his guitar, and he played, and I sang, and when he went to take care of his sleeping bag (our washer couldn't fit the sleeping bags) he gave me his guitar. I started playing and singing Child of God, and he apologized to this guy for my horrible playing, and he said something like, we weren't bothering him, it was relaxing, and he liked it. We got complimented! Then Brian and I went and bought picks, it was a very productive day. Mine are pink! Yay! They had lights in pink, that was awesome. I think Brian got mediums in green or something.

Today I started watching Summertime Switch, it has Ryder Strong in it, Shawn from Boy Meets World, I didn't finish watching it, but I recorded it with the DVR, so maybe I'll finish watching it after I write here. I am actually kind of glad to be going back to school, the end of the summer has been a bore. It'll be nice to have somewhere to go everyday, I'm just worried that all the work is going to be so hard this year. O'well God won't give me anything I can't handle.

Today Leah and I didn't go to Katie's baby shower. That was fun. Then we haven't done anything, really, all day, but this is a long entry for having not done anything. Well, I am going to go do something a little more interesting than this...

Well, Bible study was good tonight. Steve touched on keeping God with us during school, work, college, wherever we are. Basically, just keep a relationship with God as we're going back to school, and make sure to witness to all our friends. A verse he used, one of my favorites, and it's on Leah's blog as the main header, is 1 Timothy 4:12 - Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.

It was a good night. I'm talkin' to Micah Caitlin now, I will go, goooodbye.

So we have done absolutely nothing all day today. Leah and Brian I think went to the college, but I stayed home, I feel like I'm going to have to be spending enough time there when school gets back in session anyways, why should I spend all my time there now registering other people and stuff? I am so not excited to go back, and I don't like the Spanish lab attendant, he picks on me, not even joking. I always get yelled at, but the person next to me could be doing the same thing as me (example: I was reading for history, a girl next to me for econ, and he yelled at me) I was upset. Anyways, then trying to deal with Sr. Franco again will be hard, but I'm sure I can do it. I like the way he adds extra credit to the tests, so I know I can deal with it. It bothers me that he doesn't count percentages over 100 though. O'well.

Well, we are to leave for the last summer swimming Bible study in a bit. It's at Heidi and Victor's house to celebrate his birthday. It'll be fun. I have a headache, I think I need to go eat, I've eaten hardly anything today, that's why I have one. Hmm, what will I eat?

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!! I miss you, but you'll be back soon, and I can't wait to see you! I love you!! :)

I feel like I'm wasting the rest of my summer doing nothing. It's so boring. O'well, what do you do? I have a week and a half, what should I do with my time? I did almost nothing today. I went to the library for like, two minutes, they didn't have what I wanted, so I came back home. Leah and Brian and I went to Blockbuster to drop 50 First Dates off, I'd already seen it, but they liked it. Then we went to, let's see, get Brian shoes, they are very cool. Then we went grocery shopping, it was, I suppose, semi-productive.

Then Leah and I watched a Lifetime movie, Every Mother's Worst Fear, it was sick and twisted. It is very high suspense, like this one movie we watched once, Lisa, kind of creepy. An internet stalker, a naive teenaged girl, it was, as I said, kind of creepy. Then I watched this movie with Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater from Saved by the Bell) and Amy Jo Johnson (Kimberly from Power Rangers) and it was called Killing Mr. Griffin. I didn't like the ending, but it was entertaining.

I didn't make my bed today, I probably should. I'm just sitting here writing, listening to Our Heart's Hero, not much else is going on. Maybe I'll call Shea later today, I haven't talked to her in a really long time. I wonder if she'll be at Bible study tomorrow night. These are all my random thoughts.

The Sims 2 comes out September 18, I can't wait, it's going to be so exciting. I need to go put towels in the dryer really fast. Hopefully when I come back, I have something more interesting to say. Maybe someone will trip, or do something weird. Nope, nothing weird. O'well, better luck next time. Dinner is pretty close to being done, I'm excited, real food. We had this junk-bucket lasagna last night, none of us liked it, haha! It tasted gross and watery. But tonight we're having pasta bakes style stuff, mmm! I'm excited. Anyways, maybe something entertaining will happen in a couple hours.

Well, I bought new shoes today, it was very exciting. When I get the chance with the digital camera after Mom and Dad are back, I'll give you all a picture, it will be very exciting.

I also had to turn down doing day care for Amanda today, I was really sad 'cause I really liked that job. Just babysitting 10 or so kids all under the age of 5 for about an hour and a half. It was really hard, because I just liked doing it so much, but I have a class right in the exact slot of time when I would have to babysit, 9:30-11:00.

We went to Apologetics tonight. We talked about something really interesting, and you can leave comments on here about your opinion. God knows what is going to happen, so why do we pray? Does it effect change? Or is there just one set plan, and nothing can be changed by prayer? Some say it's just for our own benefit. I believe that prayer can change things, God makes accomodations, and answers prayers that way. I have a spot in the Bible, Exodus, where it talks about God changing His mind, but it's all the way in my room in my Bible case right now, so I'll get it for you all later.

Okay, well, I already tried posting this, but my blog is acting freak-o. I had said it was really exciting because I guess Krista, Katie, and Allison are going to organize a line dancing-country dance--- thing. Candie and I are going to learn to line dance. We are excited. I hope it's not too hick though. It's going to be in the fellowship hall at church, so it's exciting. It's like, two weeks after school gets back in, like a back to school dance thing. If I make some money soon, I'll buy clothes for it, haha!
Ha! Want to know something else pretty funny? I guess Krista, Allison, and Katie want to have a country line dancing--- dance thing at the church in the fellowship hall like, two weeks after school gets back in, so me and Candie decided to learn to line dance. It's exciting. We're going to get all countried out too, it'll be exciting. I hope it's not too hick. Haha!

Casey is chauvinist. He asked me if I vented on my blog because he seriously is making a bunch of chauvinist coments tonight (and usually does) and I said no, but I will. So here is my entry. Casey thinks women should wash the dishes because smaller feet let them be closer to the sink. Obviously, God knew what He was doing when He did that, according to Casey.

Well, sorry for the terrible lack of updates. I have more fun working on my photo blog, but now I can't post because Mom and Dad took the digital camera, so it will be a little while until I can post more pictures. Leah cut my hair today too, and it's rather short, so I'll have to get pictures of it on here. I just wanted it trimmed, that doesn't usually mean 4 inches! I have no comment on my hair anymore, other than it looks healthier. Anyways, school starts back up let's see, two weeks from today, I'm so not excited, but I'm sure I'll survive. I'd rather not have school. O'well. Other than that, nothing really is new. I'll probably scan some old pictures from a long time ago and put them on my blog to keep it updated, and I have one of my friend JP's senior pictures, I'll put those on there. I need to go clean up some stuff in the kitchen right now.

So, I suppose today, we are to see the Princess Diaries 2, but I'm not quite sure. We were supposed to yesterday, so I hope we will today. Leah is also talking about going to the mall early and getting herself a new outfit, she is very clothing deprived these days. Anyways, I suppose I will go shower or something along those lines, make my bed, eat.

Haha! Crummy title, I know, but it was fun writing it. Anyways, the volunteering I did was really awesome, it was for the Grace Rescue Mission, and it was awesome! It's a Christian rescue ministry, and they provide food and clothes, and it was so humbling to see people who had alot less than me. It made me more grateful, and I only spent an hour around these people. I hardly talked to any of them, but those who I did speak with were very nice. Anyways, I think I'll volunteer there some more if I get the chance because they are so amazing. They are spreading the Gospel through tools like food and clothes, and it's crazy how far it reaches. Anyways, tell me if you think I should update my blog format.

Well, for all of those wondering, I have finally got my photo blog up and running, hurrah! I don't like the way that word is spelled. Woo hoo! Much better. Okay, well, I have to go serve drinks at this thing for a guy at our church, he's having some banquet type thing, I don't really know, so I have to be there around 4:30, drive like, 30 minutes, ahh! But it's okay, I have my license, so I like driving. I'll tell you what it really was when I get back from it and find out. Then tomorrow I have to babysit from around 11 to 4ish, go to Bible study, then home. The remainder of my summer vacation seems so short, but the days go by so slowly. Like today, the dentist could not have seemed longer if I were moving in slow motion. Ech, I hate the dentist. All the junk they put in your mouth, if you swallow the toothpaste it makes you sick, the dentist I had smelled funny. It was not pleasant. Oh well, at least I have pretty teeth.

Well, on behalf of my genius, I figured out how to make my digital camera work without draining a billion batteries. Use rechargable ones from an RC, and charge them back up in the RC. I'm such a smart person! ;) Anyways, go look at my photo blog.

Okay, I wasn't going to post what is this, third time today? But I can now have titles for my entries, how awesome could that be? That's all. I was excited.

So I think I'm going to start a photo blog, which will be very cool once I get my pictures back from Ward Lake. It will probably be really pathetic until I find a way to get our digital camera to work better though or something. That's okay though.

*Random thought that I just really wanted to insert: If you put your Sims CD in an mp3 player, or a discman that has mp3 capabilities, you get a ton of different songs. I found that out today because of pure curiosity, and it was exciting.*

Okay, so in all honesty, do you think if I changed my colors so they weren't so bright that people would subconsciously be convicted to leave me more comments? I don't know, but maybe more people would be able to visit it twice without going blind. Well, I'm not going to change for anyone else.... (maybe) but just tell me if you think I should change my blog up.

So I want to get a digital camera, a really good one that doesn't drain batteries like the one we have that is retarded. Maybe if I get a job then I will save up for a new one, and also for a new guitar... I don't know which I'd rather first though. But I shouldn't be spending money I don't even have. Okay, well, I think I'll talk to my Mom and ask her if I can go look for a job tomorrow, apply at places, because even though school is so close to getting back in, I'll only have 4 classes as opposed to my 6 last year, so 2 at the college and 2 at home is very managable. I think it would be awesome if I could do that. I just don't know where to try. Shannon told me that Red Robin is hiring, but that's is a little far. I'll start close and work my way out.

Anyways, I am going to update you all about last Sunday through Thursday. We left Sunday morning, and it took us roughly ten hours to get to Ward Lake! It was so long to be stuck in a car! I was in the Rowdy Van, yes, but we were so not rowdy at all, it was a let-down. I had gotten around four hours of sleep, so I was really tired, and everyone else was just tired for some reason too, so most of us slept alot. It was me, Katie, Heidi, Krista, Missy, Brett, and Mike Fell was driving. Katie and I played travel connect four for a while, then we played the dot game too, Katie and I actually succeeded in singing the Song that Never Ends for about 8 minutes, it was awesome. When we finally got there, we had to set up our tents (after we'd unloaded everything) and the tent arrangement was originally supposed to be me, Krista, and Katie, but then Mike had it arranged so it was me Heidi, Krista, and Katie, and Katie didn't want to leave her friend Maddy alone, so she and Krista went in Maddy's tent with Maddy's family, and then Heidi, Leah, Candie, and I ended up sharing a tent, which worked out to be great. So this was probably the least fun thing we had to do: Set up our tent. The guys weren't allowed to help us, but they did instruct us alot, told us how to do it somewhat because the instructions were so faded and it was getting dark, that we couldn't read them. So we finally got our tent up, got everything set inside, and I started feeling really sick because I hadn't eaten in nearly 9 hours, and I had a headache from car sickness... Ech. So Marty took me to their camp site and we talked with his dad and he gave me something to eat to hold me over, and then we finally ate, and didn't have a campfire that night. We were all just wiped out, but then the next day was fun. Monday we just had our Bible study in the morning (which due to Lorra and Maggie was awesome!) and then we were just able to do whatever we wanted. We went to breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday, and the rest was pretty much free time and Bible studies. I liked it alot.

Wednesday we went to the river, and i had sap in my hair, it was soooo gross! So we were all getting our hair washed by the O'keefe girls, and I say they did a great job removing the sap. Candie and I went to the hot springs too, and it was nasty, Candie fell over in the mud, it was hillarious! We both just kept falling and getting more disgusting, then we came back and washed off the mud in the river again. I'll have to try to get some pictures on here from Ward Lake when I get them developed. Anyways, the last day was kind of a bummer because Wednesday night I had to pack and missed the campfire for a time, but Steve (so cool) convinced Mike to let us stay up 15 extra minutes, till 10:15 to look at the stars by the fire, it was awesome, so I made it for that at least. The next morning we had KP (kitchen people) duty, so that was why I had to pack up the night before, to make it in time to leave. So Steve and I made an awesome team, we made pancakes! It has to be the sibling thing, you think alike, so you have perfect timing, he'd take a pancake off, I'd replace it. We got alot better after about 100 pancakes, haha! We made so many. Anyways, then it was a long ride home, but we had fun. However, our malfunction this year (last year this happened kind of too, a car broke down, and we got delayed about an hour waiting for them at the McDonald's I think and we played in the play place.) anyways, one of our vehicles had the fan belt break, and they were just getting away from Dinuba when we got back home, so our stuff was still there, and we had to get it the next day. But that wasn't too bad if that was the worst. Anyways, for those of you who actually read this entire entry, I give you credit, I talked alot.
