The District Sleeps Alone Tonight

So guess what! I got a job! That's right, I am now an employee. I work at Baker's, woot woot. I got the job Tuesday, and took my class for my food handler's license last night which was a joke, and then today was my orientation. It was loads of fun. I mostly read all kinds of debriefing stuff and what not. Well, let me tell you, if you EVER take the food handler's class, know that all but 8 our of the fifty questions are true, haha! Seriously, ridiculous, and you can get 12 wrong! It was pointless, haha! And then everyone was copying off of one another, it was ridiculous, the guy didn't even care. So silly. People who don't even speak ENGLISH got them! Haha! Well, then today I just went through all the paperwork and such, and then Mike (my boss) showed me around the back, I got my cute new uniform, pictures of which will be posted soon, and then I got to do a little bit of work. Today was my orientation, like I said, and Monday is my first day of training. I will be a cashier after I manage the drink station for a while. I'm SO excited!! :)

Reason skips me through eyes of red, pumping my heart, pounding my head...

Yesterday was a fun day. Around four I went to the O'keefe's house, where I proceeded to hang out for a little bit, watch Kelli take pictures of Shannon and what not. Then we all headed over to the park and played a couple mean games of soccer. Obviously my team always tore it up... (Ha!). That was so much fun though, we just played a few good games. Then we all went back to the O'keefe's and hung out, I got my butt kicked at a little Halo 2 (Oh yeah, we went with Josh, Micah, Katie, Mollie, Joey, Becky, Maddie, Allison, Victor, and Poptart) and then as we were leaving the park, David and Robby showed up, so they went back to the house. Then we just hung out and stuff, it was super exciting. Anyways, I came home, and Mom was talking to our neighbors, so I went over and started playing basketball with them. Yes, I've never written of them, so I will introduce you... Michael, Ronny, and Geno. I am not really sure on Geno's name's spelling, but they are about 15, 14, and 6 or somethign. But yeah, I shot some hoops, and then came home, showered, and ate. It was a good day. Then tonight we have youth group (Locust Army!!) and that should be about it for anything exciting.

Pretend you don't know them

We just had an earthquake. It was really little, but still. All the chains on the fans are swinging and stuff. So I haven't posted in a long time. I have a couple of good things to say too.

A couple of Fridays ago, I had the two Victors, Scott, Candie, and Robby for a minute come over. Well, we watched Zoolander, and then we used the spa and the pool. We were all sitting in the spa being wusses, when suddenly, out of nowhere, the dare was presented to the Victors to jump the fence and hop in our next door neighbor's pool... WHILE THEY WERE IN IT!! Well, Victor B. had already hopped half-way over the fence when he saw the not-so-fierce Zoogy approach, the goofy German shepherd they have. Victor R. had his head over the fence, and first said, "Hey, do you guys mind if we use your pool?" Well, they hopped over the fence and into our neighbor's pool. Their dad came out, and basically just said if they were friends over here, they're friends over there, he's awesome, haha! It was hilarious. They were over there for a while too.

I got out of school last Thursday. I didn't actually have to take my psychology test, but I did anyways. I think I got a really bad grade on it, but he drops your lowest test score, and we'll just say, I had room to drop it. I took my music test Wednesday. It was really hard, and I guess our teacher skimmed over each test as they were turned in, and no one got even close to an A. He will probably have to grade on a curve. He had those results coming, I must say. He tests way too hard.

Last night I went to the AValley street fair. It was outside their town hall, and everyone I invited was shocked to hear that they had a town hall, as was I. They had a ton of things set up, including a place for custom bikes, where I saw one of my Dad's customers and his wife. Phat Cat Swinger was playing there, they did a really good job. Kelli, Allison, Josh, Mollie, Katie, Maddie, and Victor showed up after a time. We practiced swing dance moves and what not far beyond where all the people were actually dancing, haha! I got to dance with Tyler, which was awesome because he is a GREAT swing dancer. Then we all went to McDonald's, and as soon as we got back I had to leave. It takes me a long time to get home from there. Overall, it was an EXTREMELY fun time, and now we're hoping to set something up with the youth group where Tyler can teach us. :) It'll be awesome.
