The Most Gigantic Annoyance Ever

Okay, so you're on your merry little way, filling out job application after job application. You notice the new thing is to ask for your e-mail address. You don't want to leave a box blank and look like you forgot it, so you fill it in. Plus, what if that is their primary form of contact! So you continue to peruse the job applications, then one day, you check your e-mail. You are super excited, because your first glimpse tells you that one is from JCPenney! "Yes, finally somewhere I applied is trying to reach me!!"

You proceed to open the e-mail. To your great, great, GREAT dismay, it is an advertisement for 30-60 percent off sheets or something stupid.

Just because you gave them your e-mail address to get a job, now they think that they can send you all kinds of junk advertisements! Yeah right, like I'll shop there again NOW! What an insult!!!

Unless they have cute clothes...

I hate job hunting... But I wouldn't if it were as the name implies... Killing Jobs.

I really do wish I hadn't quit In-n-out. I hated that job with a passion. But the fact of the matter is, it was a job. It had a paycheck. Now I can't even get a stupid job. I am qualified to teach elementary school, and I can't even get a job selling shoes. Nothing is worse on your self-confidence than not receiving a job, I think. It's awful to get that impersonal post-card that says, "Sorry, we liked so many other of the losers you interviewed with better, and that means you're way more of a loser than the guy who thought he was applying for a different position and then lied about it, or the chick who sang her praises about working in a medical office. Try again next time."
I hate trying to get a job. I honestly just feel like giving up. After applying at about 25 establishments, I really just give up. I'll only work for about three weeks anyways, and then have to quit so I can substitute. Who cares anymore. If I go broke, maybe that's just my lot in life.
I know God will provide as much as He wants us to have, but unfortunately it looks like that's not much at this very moment. It's so dismal trying to retain hope when nobody wants you.
