Woo, It's a Jugle Out There

Well, I woke up at like, 9:30 today, showered, caught up on school, for like, all day, went to the store with Mom to get stuff for dinner, enchiladas!! With that great accent I had since I was nine, I am so blessed. :) Hmm, DJ Sammy, totally hoping it's a guy with a girlish voice or something... I don't know, sounds like a girl, the cover of the cd has a guyish like face... *Worried* Well, we also went to get Dad, Mom and me lunch, ate, didn't make my bed OR do my laundry folding, so basically all is in a mess, but you know, that's okay for now. It's okay because at least I'm caught up on homework now. I have a managable amount for the rest of the weekend. Hmm, Heaven... It's a good song, but I'm still worried...

Well, I just didn't do very much other than school today. And lazing and not cleaning my room after strenuous mental working out. I actually did my hair rather than just pulling it up while it's wet or leaving it down and straight. It was exciting. A form of half-up half-down only more down than up. Hard to describe, but very fun. Well, not much else going on. I have Kelli's birthday party tomorrow, I'm getting her *ahem* hugs *ahem* because it's no gifts, just *ahem* hugs. :) Then I have 7 Sunday night. I'm not dressing up either, I'm just going as this really cool girl... me. ;) Well, I'll try to update about the weekend. Oh yeah, my English teacher told me my paper is an A paper. :)

Arithmetic Is...

Return to me, oh yeah. I'm back. Well, not much eventful happened all weekend until yesterday. Ernie and Jp came up and brough Chris with them. And their dad Ernie brought his girlfriend Anna, and he had his friend Donny come up. It was so much fun. Leah, Candie and I met Jp and Chris at Subway and ate, then Ernie showed up (he had been learning to drive a stick shift with my Dad) and he ate. We all went home, and we talked for a while, just hung out. Leah needed to finish cleaning Ernie's truck, so she was doing that. Then Jp suggested we wash his car, so I helped him do that. Ernie and I played guitar for a few minutes, Jp and I went to Brian and Nicole's to talk to them about an iron cross sticker for Jp's car. (He drove us over there rather than walking when it's the equivalent of two houses over!!) Then we talked with Brian for a little bit, came back here and just I don't really know, hung out I guess. Then Leah wanted to make everyone play Phase 10, but I don't like that game very much, so I just helped Jp. Then after a while, Ernie came and wanted to play (I think he'd gone to the bank.) so I helped Ernie. Ernie kept messing my hair up so bad too, and that was when we found out he's ticklish, so at least I had some form of defense. :)

Well, before they needed to get going, we took pictures. Ernie wanted to take a picture with Ernie and Jp. Then they took one with all of them AND Chris (aww). :) Then we wanted a picture with Jp, Ernie, and Chris, and they decided they wanted to do a pyramid. Oh man, that was interesting. We'll have pictures back some day. We video taped the process too, it was fun. Then we took a normal picture or a couple or something, and the last one, I wanted to see Jp's foot (he was at work and a fork lift ran over his foot.) Well, he told me he wouldn't let me see unless I took off his shoe AND his sock! Gross! But I did because I do it for little kids all the time, it's just the same thing. Mom took a picture of his foot, so exciting. :) Well, then Jp made me put his shoe and sock back on... Anyways, then they had to leave, but when they were in the car, Ernie had his window rolled down, and he signed Mom's hand and mine, his signature. So that's a picture on my blog now. Go check it out. :) That's all. Oh yeah, and I didn't like school today. I'll probably like it less tomorrow...

All Of Us

Well, I woke up not too late this morning, but I still haven't gotten dressed. I was talking to my Aunt in an IM, and playing guitar, and stuff... But I do need to go shower and stuff soon. Oh well, it's not as late as I thought it was yet. I should go get dressed soon though... So I can stay home and do nada. :) But hey, supposedly and hopefully Ernie and Jp are coming up tomorrow, I hope they can, so that will be exciting. Well, that's all. I need to shower.

After Closing Hours

Well, I woke up waaay too late today, cleaned my bathroom like a deep clean, like, four hours. Then I showered and put my hair up, and Steve and Maggie and Mike came over, we had pizza. That's about all. This is just a cheesy excuse for an update, but at least I put something on here. Today was just not very much happened, and it seemed ten times too short. :)

Spreading it thin. Trying to keep up on so many blogs is a monster. But I'll do it. So I joined choir tonight. Apparently I made it to first soprano which is like, really high voices and stuff. I always sing way to high, so I guess it's cool that it isn't a bad thing. I'm excited. Oh yeah, I wore my watch today. I haven't worn it in a long time. But once I have charged my batteries and all, I will take a picture and put it on here. RC batteries for the digital camera, who would have thought?

Well, in English today, I was the only one with a finished paper, so Mrs. Golder and I went over it together, and then I corrected the errors. For some strange reason I didn't have the works cited page on my floppy disk, so I took the one from the rough draft because it was the right version, and just turned it in like that, she said that was fine. Well, I ate lunch alone today too. Poor li'l me. (Can you give me some sound financial advice?!?) I just needed to eat something really quick after English class and before Spanish lab opened back up. They close for an hour for lunch. I needed to get my hour today though, it was the last day I had the chance. Oh yeah, I got 100 on my last Spanish test I got back. (Hurrah for me!) And I felt so behind today. I had to miss school yesterday because Mom and Dad didn't want me to hydroplane, and then I just felt like, all lost today. It was weird.

Well, I like Switchfoot and Homestarrunner. I'm going to go to bed. Goodnight.

Double Deck

Well, I started a blog for Matt, but it just progressed into a dual contributors blog. Now I will be able to post when he never does. Well, I had to be absent today, from my Spanish class. It kind of threw me into a chronic state of shock. I haven't been absent from school since kiderngarden. Mike says it's unhealthy to go to school everday, but I think it's good. I had to stay home because it rained so much today, that Mom and Dad didn't want me driving and hydroplaning. Well, I did school, had some time to play guitar, start a blog for Matt, (Check it out invisiblematt) and I still got to watch Smallville. So exciting. Well, that's pretty much all. I was home all day, so not too much interesting happened. I cleaned my room a little bit, took a few pictures that will be on my photo blog when I'm not too lazy to go get the batteries and stick them in the camera and transfer, (maybe later tonight) and I did homework. Enjoyed the "rain and relaxation." It was a good day overall. That's all.

Escrooooowwww!!!!!

Well, today I wrote the rest of my English paper. It's over 5 pages, woo hoo! So relieving. Well, I really don't have a lot of time. I want to go get ready for bed... And play guitar... I can't be a Spanish tutor... Today was a good day though... It's all good!!!

Wait 'til 9:00

Well, Brian just left. It seriously is a bummer. It was fun while he was here, and though sometimes he'd annoy me, and I would be mean to him, I love him to death. I will just miss him. I hope that he does well up north with his mom and sister, and I will be praying for him. Just be praying for him, anyone.

One eligible Bachelor

Oh man! I had so much fun today! I woke up and all, and then I waited for Leah to finish changing her oil and washing her car. Then I pulled my car up on the driveway, changed my own oil and oil filter, Dad showed me how to clean my air filter, then we checked all my other fluids, one of Dad's customers found my two oil caps. My oil caps keep disappearing, and he found them both. They were kind of lying around where it should have been... Well, then Dad showed me how to rotate my tires which was the most fun thing I've done in a loooong time! I got to use the gun that takes the bolts off hooked up to the air compressor. I felt like NASCAR. :) So much fun. Well, then we checked my tire pressure, put air in, and we were good to go. I had fun. And I got disgustingly dirty. Well, then Mom, Dad and I went to Outback and saw Jackie there. Then Dad took us to Coldstone, but I didn't get anything. I'd had too much for dinner, and woulda up-chucked if I mixed sugar with it. Well, now, I fixed my English papers, oh wait, "revised" them. It took like, ten minutes for both, and I'm just going to turn them in on Tuesday both, instead of one on Thursday because it's dumb, I have an A on one and an A- on the other. Couldn't be the one I got a B+ on. (That WAS an in-class essay though...) Anyways, other than that, now I'm going to talk to Rachel and work on my casino paper. I only need half written by Tuesday, but what's the point in having something incomplete? I'll stretch it as far as I can and finish it, but I'm not just going to write half and stop, that's dumb. I'll probably get a little over 3 pages and then have to find a way to stretch it more. I'll put my homeschooling paper up here soon!! :) Well, bye bye!

Too Weird For Title? No... Put it in Bold Print

Well, Sr. Franco asked me if I wanted to be a Spanish tutor today. We had a quiz, and as I was walking out, he followed me and asked me, I was soooo excited! So I went to lab, then ran up and down to upper and lower campus like, 3 times trying to get the stupid form, lol. So yeah, I got it, filled it out, now I need Sr. Franco to sign it and tell me where to turn it in. I'm excited to start. :) Well, that's all, my mini-update. And casinos suck and you should never have to write a paper on them against your will.

Too weird to describe, and it has been said that they are satanic, addicting, and are being used to infiltrate the minds of American children to take over somehow. Check it out for yourself, and you'll be addicted and boohbah will be a common word dropped into your conversations like mine and Rachel's where we mentioned it like 20 times: www.boohbah.com OR! http://pbskids.org/boohbah/boohbah.html Don't be hesitant! Zingzingzingbah is totally my favorite! :) But there's also jumba, chumbah, humbah, and zumba..... :) Seriously, check it out. And this is pretty cool too... http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail116.html

Walt Whitman and I

Well, today Casey and Mike and Courtney came over, and they played cards with Leah, Phase 10, but I don't like that game, so I sat and laughed at the crummy hands Casey got. And I checked my e-mail and sent Rachel pictures. I slightly documented the night. www.fotogenic.blogspot.com

Well, I have church really early in the morning, but here's just something random: I have ALWAYS wanted to publish a book of anything, but it didn't seem realistic. Every time I ever wrote things I wanted to accomplish, that was near the top ten. Well, I was watching this commercial for XEROX and apparently you can publish just one book at a time, how awesome is that? I'll have to definitely do that some day.

Here's some stuff I've been waiting for:
A letter from Matt
Grades back from English papers
To be confident enough in my new song to show Steve
An open door and perfect opportunity to witness
Next month to try to figure out a text message plan :)
Phone calls
Serving at 7
Have a really good friend that's closer than Oklahoma and not related
Get to talk to Matt face-to-face again soon

Well, that was all I could come up with, if I think of anything else, I'll post ya. :)

Oh the Mike and Pepsi...

Okay, to clarify the recent confusion, and contrary to popular belief, no, it was not a date. I will let you all tease me about it because it doesn't bother me because I realize the extreme lack of reality, so please, do have fun.

And My Voice Shakes Along With My Hands

Good song, good song. So despite the ever-justified and probably belief due to the evidence, no, I have not been ridiculously pre-occupied. I just haven't posted. Well, Casey Basey and I went to go see Taxi tonight. Despite the giant gaping holes left for reality that just never appeared at any point through the movie. As Mike would put it, there was much deus ex machina, and left far too much reality to be desired. Aside from the coincidental "semis being in the right spot" scenarios, the film had several laughs at the expense of one of the two main characters, making him out to be a clumsy cop who lacks the all-important skill of driving. The film is based around this weakness, and that's where the other character (Queen Latifah-Belle) comes into play and where the movie gets it's name. While it was rather entertaining, and the laughs were placed in just the right spots, the movie did lack a certain element of reality, which, while it made it hard to believe, made it entertaining to watch, especially with Casey, making comments like, "Wow, that could so not happen." THe movie was a decent movie, and if you feel like having a laugh, it is a good one to see.

Other than that, not much going on. At all. Feel free to call and make weekend plans with me, maybe I can work you into my schedule between nothing and nothing in Spanish! :)

Green and Blue Stars

Oh yeah, I became a member of the church yesterday. It was cool because Marty, Katie, and Mollie all did too. So awesome. Anyways, can't wait to see who my thousandth visitor was! :)

Monetary Unit

If you are visitor 1000 please leave a comment!! I'm so excited! :) Well, I got a 95 on my Spanish test. Not bad, I suppose, I'm not as obsessed this semester with being ranked number one, I'm guessing at least 5 though, I will be ranked. Anyhow, I went to the writing center after Spanish class and worked on my paper, I fixed some little stuff, but over all my tutor and I couldn't find much wrong. That's good though, it means I'm getting better the first time, I just always feel so much better about my papers when we marked up a bunch of stuff and fixed it, it just seems like more is better about it then. I'm not very confident in my transitons either, but this is just a rough draft, we'll see how I do with it. Man, dinner smells so good, but it's not done yet, I'm going insane. :) Hey, check out my photo blog, Patti sent more pictures of Matt. Speaking of pictures, I took some the other day, when I have time I'm going to put them on my photo blog. You'll be the first to get a sneak peek at my English paper, *ahem,* you'll love it. :) I'm also going to add some random pictures of stuff like my ID card from school, I'll scan it up, some stamp things I got at Bible Baptist like, 8 years ago, I'll find more stuff. Maybe I'll write the alphabet, scan it, and put it on there. That would be fun. Okay, well, I'm going to go bug Mom and see if dinner's done yet. :)

Verizon Wireless

Oh yeah, I'm getting pretty good at playng Only Hope. If I get good enough at it, and I can figure out how to put audio clips up, I'll post it on here. :)

Flava-Craze

Well, we went to the Falling Up concert tonight, me, Krista, Greg, Brian, Mike, Leah, a lot of others. We saw Brandin there, and Marcy too, from 7. It was pretty cool. The lead singer did this back flip thing, the guitarist pushed him into it, and the guitarist had his guitar flying in circles around his torso, it was crazy. They were a fun band, and I got their autographs on a sticker. I'll have to scan it up when I get time and put it on my photo blog.

School tomorrow once again. Why is it that I just never want to go back to school but when I'm in class, it's really not that bad? I think it's the homework I don't like. Just blah. That's all. Blah. I have to finish my rough draft for English too. It's practically done, but there's always room for improvement. I need to print it off right now so I can take it to the writing center tomorrow for revisions and comments.

We went to the Pizza Factory today with Marty and Casey, Leah and I did. It was fun. Then Marty went home and Casey and me and Leah went to Heidi's and played Phase 10 with Heidi and Victor for a couple hours. It was fun, but I had more fun when I stopped playing and just got to look at Casey's cards. :) Anyways, I had better print off my English paper, get ready for bed and get myself there. I don't want to go to school tomorrow... But I know I'll have fun when I'm there.

Benwin

Well, The Forgotten. The plot was well manufactured, but slightly vague in areas, and rather predictable in others. Though the ending was something I could not have imagined, and the beginning left you anxious to begin unravelling what the movie was about. The beginning was very key in the development of this movie because it leaves many questions unanswered that are later tied up. It had a good theme, and the characters seemed strong enough to predict their moves. Overall, there were only a few curse words, it wasn't a scary movie as much as it was suspenseful, and the plot left much to the imagination, but in a good way. It kept your mind working instead of doing the thinking for you. There were many parts that Mike and I agreed on though, that they could have added something. I advise seeing it, and being prepared to be jolted by sudden adrenaline.

Well, church tomorrow, late tonight, didn't sleep but 5 hours last night, are you getting all this?

Outro

Clean, clean, clean! Yes, I am clean now, but my room is terribly and depressingly messy. I am going to clean it while I listen to the top song of the top 44 count down of Effect Radio, Kids in the Way, Phoenix. Second week in a row. Oh my, how did Everstays Red not make it there? Well, I think this is consdired procrastinating. I need to do Spanish homework too, maybe I'll make my bed and then write my silly little paragraph for Spanish about an accident I've had. This unit in Spanish is health, but I've never broken a bone (Thank God) so this is going to be a fictional story, and I'll make it ridiculously unbelievable if it's within my vocabulary. I'm excited. Other than that though,it's just a lot of learning all these new words, thinking, "How the heck do you conjugate this relfexive verb?" and finally learning it all so thoroughly that you know it just as well as the people in class who speak Spanish as a first language and sitting there bored with them all. Oh the joys. Man, I've been able to procrastinate longer than I thought I would. Maybe I'll look for the batteries I lost while I'm cleaning. Well, maybe I'll post after I see The Forgotten tonight, I am really not wanting to clean.

Introduce, Quote, Summarize

Well, I slept so little last night, I just could not fall asleep until like, 3:30 in the morning, and then woke up at 8:30. I don't know if it's my cold, or just me becoming an insomniac. I hope it's just my cold. Anyway, I guess today Leah, Steve, Maggie and I are supposed to go see The Forgotten. It looks kind of scary, so I'm a little afraid. I think the scariest movie I've ever seen was Child's Play, and it wasn't even that it was that scary, it's jus that I watched it when I was 6 years old, so it's left trauma scars forever. I remember making Steve put all my dolls in my closet before I'd go to sleep that night. That kind of ruined playing House too. I don't know, the doll's face just still scares me, I don't like it.

Well, that was an interesting travel to the past. I have almost completely finished my paper on homeschooling versus public schooling, so when it is totally done and maybe even after I have a grade on it, I'll post it on here. I got my compare and contrast paper back, I got an A, three mistakes on it. Two comma splices, one unnecessary word. That was pretty exciting, and my teacher was so happy that I did so well. Other than that, not much has been going on today so far. I learned to play Only Hope (kind of) on guitar last night. I found the chords at guitartabs.cc. That's a good site, I advise anyone looking for more popular songs to look there. Typically they have a lot of good stuff from Relient K and Switchfoot and all them.

Well, I washed my car yesterday and Dad's corvette. His corvette looks much better, it had like, ten layers of caked on dirt on it. The paint job is through though. I sincerely thought the paint was going to start coming off when I dried it.

Well, this entry's long enough, and considering the fact that it's already 10:30, I need to go shower. Maybe I'll take some random pictures soon and post them on my photo blog. It's been crying out for my attetnion. :)

American Attempts at Reconciliation and The Declaration of Independence

Okay, so as you may have noticed if you keep yourself updated with Leah's blog as well as mine, I wasn't mentioned as going to the Thursday night Bible study yesterday. Well, I wanted to, and I knew that Steve was doing a lesson that I asked for specifically, but I slept awful the night before, this cold has been beating me to the ground, and I was kind of a bit loopy yesterday. I felt out of it all day. But I'm feeling much better for those of you wondering. I'm still sick though, blech.

Anyways, Steve and Maggie are supposed to come over tonight for dinner. I still need to make my bed and wash my car and clean up my room and answer history questions... man, I have a lot to do, I had better go get on it. Oh yeah, random fact, I have my hair parted on the other side today, it's weird. Really really weird.
