Lala!!

So I leave tomorrow for Ward Lake, woo! Pray for our group! I will be trying to post tomorrow. I like the song "Lion's Mane" by Iron and Wine. Yay. Good guitar. So tomorrow I get to wear good clothes because the majority of the day will be spent in a car in warmth. Pray that I dun get car sick! Oh mountainous terrain, cursed be thy name! You torment and tortue the poor anguished soul, and still You insist on accentuating the dull.

Oh the laments.. So I must now retire.. It is getting late, and the sleep factor is a crucial element in the whole "Hey man, I'm not crabby" and being honest- thing. So I hope you all have a delicious week worthy of your own blog entries! :) Thankyou, Stephen, once again, for showing me how to audio blog! :) So that's all.

Wow, I regret not having been posting more. I wish I had someone to whom I could just dictate, and have them type everything for me. Because Cortney broke her arm, she might get someone like that for school.. lucky!!! :) Well, right now, I am getting ready for work, in a way. Technically I'm just sitting at the computer, but I was getting ready for work before this and will be getting ready for work after this, so I think it qualifies to have said that.

I have work from 11:30 to 2 today, hopefully things will go well. I have good days and bad ones, but it's not raining today, so I won't be nearly as cheery. So there isn't too much to update about, yesterday Grandma took me to get lunch and go shopping, so yes, I will be adorned with lovely new clothing next time you see me! :) Well, I think that's about all for now.

I wanted to write my opinion of Bradley Hathaway. Please feel free and obliged to listen before continuing through the text. My first thought of Bradley Hathaway was much different than my current opinion. When Josh first introduced me to Bradley, I was skeptical, but with an open mind, I listened, one-by-one, to Bradley's poems. They blew me away. He's an amazing artist with such talent, it's unbelievable. I really want to help get the word about him out because he deserves world-wide recognition. His cd and book will be released on August 2, so make sure to check into that if you admire his work as I do. My paycheck is to be devoted to Bradley's works. Anyways, I just wanted to post about him. He deserves such praises. I hope you all enjoy him as much as I do.

So now that I have time, I must say in earnest, Hume Lake was amazing. I love it there. Here are some highlights.

I was the only high schooler on the way up, rode in Josh's van.
Had pizza, mmm
Met our cabin girls and counselor
We Like Sheep was the theme
We are on the blue team
We are Phenomenal Phil
Corntey broke her arm
We went to the cove in a boat and we walked to the river
I went to Prayer Through the Bible
I went to It's All About Him
I love the swings at Meadow Ranch
Our speaker wears red shoes, and is just ridiculously blessed in speaking abilities
I met alot awesome peoples and learned alot from many of them
I rode in Victor's truck back down, I slept alot

It was a rather good week. I know that seems like very few things to sum up the entire week, but it was all kinda cluttered. Those are just a few highlights that I could think of.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOOOO ME!!!!
So, today is my birthday. Pretty much, my plans consist of getting a shower, getting dressed, wasting time, going to work, coming home, and having dinner with my family. Oh, and maybe washing my car I guess. Work shouldn't be too bad now that I've had some attitude modifications. I'm hoping that my new outlook will provide an easier path to follow. At least I'll be more functional. Anyways, Butchie just got up, and he's not doing too well lately, so I need to take care of him.
